Modular Anaerobic Digestor Facilities

A distributed fertilizer manufacturing platform deploying hundreds of containerized anaerobic digesters at hospitals, universities and other food-waste generators across the United States. Together, the units will convert thousands of tons of food waste per year into about 1+ million gallons of certified-organic liquid fertilizer for American farms.

FGS prepared the independent feasibility study supporting Ecotone's a funding application to a USDA program, assessing the project's economic, market, technical, financial and management case. FGS also developed a project financial model and set out recommendations for scaling manufacturing, permitting and fertilizer distribution from tens to hundreds of units.
